About the Role

The Sterling Choice Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in a challenging and supportive environment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for proactive maintenance, site PMs, and reactive maintenance, working across mechanical faults and maintenance, and identifying and implementing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform proactive maintenance and site PMs to ensure optimal equipment performance
  2. Respond to breakdowns quickly and efficiently
  3. Work on engineering projects, including commissioning, installations, and relocations
  4. Identify and implement improvements in processes and machine output
  5. Adhere to site Health & Safety rules and legislation

Requirements

  1. Time-served / recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering subject
  2. Experience working in a maintenance engineer role, ideally in a similar industry
  3. Ability to work to a fast pace and confidence in a manufacturing environment
