Maintenance Engineer

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Nelson. As a market leader in the retail distribution sector, our client is looking for a professional who can deliver a high-quality engineering service to support operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Engineering Team Lead to deliver a high-quality engineering service.
- Continuously improve the performance of People and Plant to deliver site efficiency and performance standards.
- Complete the full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base.
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and basic control & instrumentation faults.
- Accurately complete all monitoring systems required by the Company.
- Report any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and support corrective action activities.
- Support the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
- Pro-actively identify areas for continuous improvement within the production work environment/equipment/systems.
- Qualified Mechanical and Electrical Engineer with FMCG experience.
- Compliant with mandatory training - plant/factory and role specific.
- Provides buddying training to other Team Members.
- Supports the creation and training of area-specific SOPs.
- Work collaboratively with all teams.
This role is working on a continental shift pattern consisting of 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights, 42 hours per week on average. The annual salary is £53,272.96.
