Job Opportunity: Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

We are looking for a qualified and skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our NHS IAPT service in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to adults experiencing common mental health difficulties.

About the Role:

  • Assess and support clients with mild to moderate symptoms of depression, anxiety, and low mood.
  • Work one-to-one or in groups, or provide support for eTherapy programs.

Your Qualifications and Skills:

  • Be a qualified PWP from a certified IAPT program.
  • Hold strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Show confidence in working flexibly without close direction.
  • Able to apply low-intensity therapeutic interventions effectively.
  • Have good time management and organisational skills.
  • Show interest in using clinical supervision positively and effectively.
  • Possess an enhanced level DBS check.
