Business Development Support

We are seeking a Commercial Assistant to join our busy team in Plymouth. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for supporting the team with a range of tasks, including raising subcontract orders, processing contractor valuations, and chasing quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Responsibilities:
- Raising subcontract orders for QS's
- Processing contractor valuations
- Query invoices
- Issuing of certificate of payments to contractors
- Filing and keeping databases updated where required
- Generate and chase up/store quotes
- Chasing quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers
- Assisting the commercial team as directed
- Speaking with suppliers, merchants, site teams
Requirements:
- Open to having a background in construction or accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret and present data.
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Strong IT skills including Excel.
