Role Overview

This SEN teaching support role in Bromley presents an opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to gain invaluable experience working with neurodivergent students.


  • In this position, you will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis inside and outside of the classroom environment.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this SEN teaching support role is between £500 and £550 per week, paid weekly via PAYE.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as an SEN Specialist include providing individualized support to students with special educational needs, collaborating with the SENCo and other mental health professionals, and gaining experience that can lead to Assistant Psychologist roles or further career advancement.


Requirements

To succeed in this SEN teaching support role, you should possess:


  • A First-Class Degree in a related subject from a Top 20 UK University.
  • Prior experience working 1:1 with a neurodivergent or SEN student.
  • Sensitivity to emotional dysregulation and strong knowledge of safeguarding practices.
  • A brilliant academic record, dating back to GCSEs.
  • Extracurricular hobbies like sports, music, or languages that can be integrated into school life (not essential).
