Deputy Chief Operating Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Operating Officer to join our team at Vero HR Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, innovation, and service delivery excellence.

About the Role

As Deputy Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the Operations & Customer Services Teams for both lending and deposits, as well as the Debt Recovery Team. You will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to manage operational projects and ensure all operations align with the regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Manage and motivate high-performing teams to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to design and implement operational projects that drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Relevant academic and professional qualifications in banking, finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a senior-level operations manager position within banking, finance, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of finance and banking regulations.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects, risks, and dependencies.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
