About the Role

We are recruiting for a Vulnerable Care Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our customers.

Job Summary:

  • Provide one-to-one support to customers, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
  • Assist customers in developing life skills, promoting independence and self-management.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a comprehensive support service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Conduct regular reviews of customer support plans, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.
  • Work closely with external partners, such as social workers and healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a care or support setting, preferably with vulnerable adults.
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Basic IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
