Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Be Caring. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Personalized Care: Provide personal care that protects people's dignity and promotes their independence.
  • Support Client Outcomes: Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals as needed.
  • Connect Clients to Community Resources: Connect people to their communities, accessing local support and services.
  • Communicate Effectively: Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time.

Induction Training:

We will provide you with comprehensive induction training on:

  • Be Caring Values: Our values, going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes.
  • Dignity and Respect: Safeguarding and equality and diversity.
  • Confidentiality and Professional Boundaries: Maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Fluids and Nutrition: Safe administration of medication and fluids and nutrition.
  • Moving and Positioning: Basic life support and pressure sores (React to Red).
  • Infection Prevention and Control: Health and safety and infection prevention and control.
  • Learning Disabilities and Mental Health: Oliver McGowan Tier 1 and mental health and capacity.
