Are you a qualified lifeguard looking for a new challenge?
We are a not-for-profit leisure trust with a strong purpose and commitment to support our local communities and hard-to-reach groups encouraging them to become more active, contributing to improved lives.
Our leisure centres offer a wide range of activities, from swimming lessons to walking football, and we are driven to provide fun and welcoming sessions to support the whole community to be active, both within our centres and in the local community.
As a lifeguard with us, you will be part of a supportive and welcoming environment, working with a team to deliver high-quality services.
You will have the opportunity to develop life-long skills like teamwork and communication, and will be working with people from all walks of life, making lifelong friends with your colleagues.
Our lifeguards are an integral part of our team and have gone on to become swim teachers, supervisors, and more.
Requirements
- NPLQ qualification or equivalent
- Competent swimmer – swim test will need to be completed as part of the interview process.
- An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
- To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers.
- Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
