Job Description

Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking a Postgraduate Development Officer to support the delivery of our expanding programme of researcher skills and development training. The successful candidate will work closely with the Co-Directors to design, organise, and deliver training sessions to postgraduate students across the university and externally. This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) position available on a permanent contract. The salary for this role is estimated at £41,313 - £53,113 per annum, based on a 30-hour working week.

About You

You will hold a relevant postgraduate qualification, including a doctorate, in a subject broadly related to our graduate programmes. Your experience in teaching, research skills, and pedagogy will be essential in this role. We are looking for someone who is a collaborative team player with excellent networking skills and a strong ability to adapt to changing situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, organise, and deliver high-quality training sessions to postgraduate students
  • Work closely with the Co-Directors to develop and implement training programmes
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on training activities
  • Contribute to the development of new training initiatives and materials
