The Semiconductor Application Specialist will play a pivotal role in the development of innovative Flexible Semiconductor products for both internal and external customers. Collaborating with R&D, Engineering, Product Management, and Commercial teams as the technical interface for product ideation, improvement, innovation, and road mapping activities, this individual will also provide first-line technical support for customers seeking to develop their own products in PragmatIC's technology.

To be successful, you should have a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in semiconductor design, verification, or application. Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuits, FPGA, ASIC, SoC, EDA tools, and methodologies are required, while previous experience engaging with semiconductor foundries and/or OSATs is welcomed.

  • Consult on project technical feasibility, specifications, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with IC Design, Test, and Assembly teams to ensure customer success.
  • Aid customers throughout the design phase of a project through to manufacture and delivery, providing feedback and inputs across the process.
Qualifications and Training
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar (ECAD, e.g., Cadence, Altium training desirable).
Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in Electronic/IC development projects with a successful outcome.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills.
  • Previous experience in Semiconductor Design/Foundry roles is very desirable.
  • Knowledge of fabless product development cycles and foundry interactions.
  • Experience directly engaging with external customers OR having the desire to do so.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
