Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food Service Assistant at AF Blakemore & Son Ltd. As a key member of our Food-To-Go Department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service:
  • Prepare and present food and beverages to the highest standards, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, responding to their queries and concerns.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, maintaining a positive and friendly service.
  • Upsell products and services to customers, highlighting promotions and offers to maximize sales.
  • Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Store Operations
  • Store Operations:
  • Work stock, checking deliveries and stocking shelves to maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Complete additional assigned tasks, such as date checking, stock and gap checking, price changes, and promotional displays.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a high level of customer service and store efficiency.
Requirements
  • Key Skills and Knowledge:
  • Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
  • Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not essential.
