Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, adhering to high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment and utensils are in good working order.
  • Support the culinary team in maintaining accurate records of food supplies, inventory, and meal planning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
  • NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to study for one.
  • Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
