Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, adhering to high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment and utensils are in good working order.
- Support the culinary team in maintaining accurate records of food supplies, inventory, and meal planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
- NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to study for one.
- Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
