About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality in our care homes.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to our residents. This will involve maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety protocols, and working collaboratively with our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in meal preparation, including food handling, cooking, and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Support the kitchen manager in maintaining accurate records and inventory
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
