Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our esteemed client, a prominent shopping centre operator in Scotland. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, compliance, and health & safety across all properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the facilities, ensuring excellence in service delivery and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise the execution of contracts and service agreements, ensuring cost efficiency and high service standards, and managing service level agreements.
  • Manage and monitor health & safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules, manage service charge budgets, and handle property-related issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Facilitate tenant relations, supporting the onboarding process and ensuring all fit-out processes comply with guidelines, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Deliver comprehensive monthly reports and engage in regular strategic planning meetings to enhance service delivery, drive business growth, and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in facilities management within a shopping centre or similar complex or retail environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • A robust understanding of compliance and health & safety requirements, supported by IOSH/NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with a track record of managing complex operations and teams, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and internal teams.
