We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our small finance team at The One Group. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of high volumes of invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and match invoices efficiently and accurately, adhering to company procedures.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and manage any discrepancies or queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices, including preparation of payment runs and coordination with internal departments.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve any invoice or payment issues.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leaders and Directors within the business regarding the purchase order process.
  • Assist with month-end close and provide support to the finance team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger role, preferably in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an inquisitive and proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
