Job Summary

GE Aviation is seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join our team at our Wales site. As a Tradesperson, you will be responsible for the technical maintenance of engines and their constituent parts. This role includes overhaul, repair, modification, inspection, replacement, or defect rectification of engines and their components.

Key Responsibilities

Overhaul, repair, and modify engines and their components to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
Restore used parts and components to extend their operational life.
Ensure adherence to standard work targets to meet business objectives.

Requirements

Relevant engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
Team player with a flexible approach and positive attitude.
Previous working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system.
Repair skillset including experience in general hand tools, pneumatic air tools, riveting, hole enlargement, and taping.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform pressure testing, broken bolt removal, and analogue measurement.
