Job Description

In this 12-month placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience covering all aspects of engineering, from requirements analysis to product design to defining test specifications.

Within this placement, you could be operating in technical environments supporting manufacturing and product quality, jet engines and aircraft structures production and overhaul, oil and gas products for downhole technology, measurement and sensing or looking at computed models for product design.

You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aerospace experience. Your People Leader will offer coaching and mentoring, and you will be provided with the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Currently studying or recently achieved an Engineering related bachelor's or master's degree including Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering or similar
  • On course or achieved a 2:1 degree
