Senior Respiratory Physiologist - Clinical Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Respiratory Physiologist to join our Respiratory Physiology Service at the University Hospital of North Midlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical services for the investigation and treatment of respiratory and non-respiratory disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the service lead to develop and implement clinical services for respiratory and non-respiratory disorders.
  • Conduct specialist procedures and investigations to diagnose and treat respiratory and non-respiratory disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients with respiratory and non-respiratory conditions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in respiratory physiology and therapeutics through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
  • Specialist experience and training in respiratory physiology and therapeutics.
  • Teaching qualification and experience in education and training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
