About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Clinical Development Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical governance team, you will be responsible for leading, supporting, and continuously improving the clinical governance and quality of care for residents across multiple care homes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the performance of each care home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards.
  • Review and analyze clinical governance databases and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement practical strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and improve care delivery.
  • Collaborate with regional directors, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to drive continuous improvement and implement key actions to address issues.

**Requirements:**

  • Registered Nurse RN (General) with current NMC registration.
  • Proven experience working in a care home environment and a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership skills, analytical mind, and ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver results.
