About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Programme Manager to join our team at Barratt Developments. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the week-to-week management of multiple sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and driving project delivery to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate construction programmes across multiple sites, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with site management teams, internal departments, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as health and safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and cost management.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial department to prepare and manage tender lists, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to site management teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that all sites are well-resourced, with clear guidelines and support for site management teams to achieve their objectives.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in construction programme management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire site management teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction management principles, including health and safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
