Research Opportunity at the University of Oxford
We are seeking a highly motivated medical statistician to join our established multi-disciplinary team, led by Professor Jemma Hopewell. The group focuses on research into cardiovascular precision medicine by capitalising on large-scale data to identify the causes, consequences and treatments for coronary disease, stroke and arrhythmias.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on cutting-edge population health research using large-scale -omics and multi-modal data from randomized and observational studies.
- Contribute to high-impact cardiovascular research and further develop statistical and -omics expertise.
- Collaborate with a team of researchers to identify and address research questions in cardiovascular precision medicine.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in statistics/mathematics/data science or a closely related highly quantitative subject.
- Excellent understanding of medical statistics and practical experience analysing big data.
- Demonstrated programming skills and ability to work in a team environment.
