Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Medical Statistics

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Medical Statistics to join our team at the University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical statistics and a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop medical statistical methods for improving our understanding of patient physiological conditions
- Work with senior medical statisticians to develop tools for analysing large electronic health record (EHR) and sensor datasets
- Contribute to high-profile collaborations with senior colleagues in the Medical Sciences Division and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Requirements:
- PhD (or close to completion) in mathematics, medical statistics, computational statistics, or a cognate discipline
- Experience of working in a highly interdisciplinary team
- Good knowledge of medical statistics and a good publication record in the scientific literature
