Deputy Pro Dean for Student Education

About the Role

The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Leeds is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Deputy Pro Dean for Student Education. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the student experience and driving excellence in student education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Pro Dean for Student Education in developing and implementing the Faculty's student education strategy
  • Work closely with Academic Leads for Student Education to drive a strong vision and strategy for student education in the Faculty
  • Take specific responsibility for Student Success and the Faculty's delivery of the Student Success KPIs
  • Chair Faculty committees and represent the Faculty at University groups
  • Collaborate with the Student Education Service team to support effective partnership with colleagues and stakeholders

  • Proven track record of excellence in student education and leadership
  • Excellent skills in leadership, team working, and collaboration
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a busy and dynamic environment with a focus on quality and excellence
