This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to leading a nurturing nursery environment where children thrive through play-based learning. You'll collaborate with a passionate team in a welcoming, stimulating, and characterful setting that caters to both children and families.
Your Responsibilities- Lead a room as a Room Leader while supporting the management team in overseeing daily nursery operations.
- Step into a managerial role when the Manager or Deputy Manager is absent, ensuring smooth running of the nursery.
- Contribute to providing high-quality education and care by adhering to Banana Moon policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with legislative requirements and educational curriculum standards to achieve the highest possible inspection ratings.
- Mentor, support, and inspire your team through training, role modeling, and supervision, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment where families feel confident entrusting their children to our care.
- Promote the nursery's success by engaging with the local community and providing exceptional customer service.
- Take on designated coordination roles based on your skills and training as assigned by the Nursery Manager.
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure within the child workforce sector.
- A Paediatric First Aid certificate (12 hours).
- Safeguarding training and qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience in childcare.
- Minimum of 1 year's leadership experience within a nursery setting.
