Nursery Caregiver

Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester, North West England

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £83.85+ Per day

• Support the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
• Collaborate with the team to implement age-appropriate activities and programmes, promoting child development and well-being
• Assist with feeding, nappy changes, and personal hygiene routines, maintaining high standards of care
• Engage in playtime and outdoor activities, fostering a love of learning and exploration
• Contribute to maintaining records and updating children's progress reports, ensuring accurate and timely information
• Work effectively with other staff members to plan and organise educational and recreational activities, promoting a positive and inclusive environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's development and progress
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow nursery policies and procedures, ensuring a secure and healthy environment for all

• Prior experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable
• Experience in assisting with child development activities and routines, with a focus on promoting positive outcomes

• Understanding of child development principles and practices, with a focus on promoting healthy growth and development
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a nursery environment, with a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a focus on promoting a positive and inclusive environment
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
