Content Strategist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced content strategist to join our International Publishing team at Oxford University Press.
About the RoleThis is a fixed-term contract for six months with possibility of extension. As an IB Publisher, you will play a key role in leading and developing content strategy for our market-leading list.
- Research and identify opportunities for existing and new products and services to meet the needs of teachers and learners in IB schools.
- Work closely with the IB Commercial Products & Partnerships team on co-published resources.
- Commission products that are market-focused and work closely with sales, marketing, and professional development colleagues to ensure effective use.
- Identify and recruit the best authors and advisers.
- Project manage resources from idea through to publication as part of a business team.
We operate a hybrid working policy requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- International K-12 strategic publisher experience, particularly in the IB market.
- Experience researching, commissioning, and overseeing the successful delivery of print and digital projects.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by teachers and secondary students when using English resources in an international and/or EAL context.
- Financial literacy and ability to assess and manage project viability.
- Proven communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Previous IB commissioning experience.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 25 days' holiday (rising with service), bank holidays, and Christmas closure (3 days). We also provide access to a wide range of local discounts and contribute to your pension up to 12%.
