About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Arboricultural Officer to join our team at Ringway Jacobs. As an Arboricultural Officer, you will be responsible for managing the Cheshire East Highways tree inspection programme and supporting staff in line with the Cheshire East Highways Tree Risk Management Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and accurately report tree inspections and service inspections across the Cheshire East road network as set out in the Inspection Schedule.
  • Receive enquiries and requests for service for a geographical area of the borough, carry out inspections and investigations as required, and determine the appropriate response or action required.
  • Meet with customers on site to discuss highway maintenance or highway-related matters, conduct such meetings in a courteous manner, and explain any technical issues clearly.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Arboricultural Officer who possesses a RCF Level 6 Arboriculture qualification, is QTRA registered, and holds a full UK driving licence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as good IT skills, particularly MS Office and GIS systems.
