About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Arboricultural Officer to join our team at Ringway Jacobs. As an Arboricultural Officer, you will be responsible for managing the Cheshire East Highways tree inspection programme and supporting staff in line with the Cheshire East Highways Tree Risk Management Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and accurately report tree Inspections and Service Inspections across the Cheshire East road network as set out in the Inspection Schedule.
  • Manage the Cheshire East Highways tree inspection programme and support staff in line with the Cheshire East Highways Tree Risk Management Strategy.
  • Receive enquiries and requests for service for a geographical area of the borough. Carry out inspections and investigations as required in order to determine the appropriate response or action required.
  • Consider options and provide appropriate outcome for each enquiry in accordance with current policies, strategies, business plan and customer journey.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Arboricultural Officer who has a strong background in arboriculture and maintenance. You will have a RCF Level 6 Arboriculture qualification and be QTRA registered. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and good IT skills, particularly MS Office and GIS systems.
