About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Disability Support Specialist to join our team in the West Midlands. As a key member of our Occupational Therapy Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with physical disabilities to maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide functional assessments for people with physical disabilities, including complex paediatric cases, in both community and hospital settings.
  • Recommend and assess for specialist equipment and major adaptations to meet the complex needs of children and adults, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Deliver training and coaching to staff members of varying grades, tailoring the approach to different learning styles.

Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Significant experience working with people of all ages who have physical disabilities, ideally in both community and hospital settings.
  • A thorough understanding of health and social care legislation, risk management, and health and safety protocols.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
