Senior Groundskeeper Job Description

At Marriott International, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Groundskeeper to join our Greenkeeping and Estates team at Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the appearance of the hotel's grounds, including lawns, flower beds, and other features.
  • Operate tractors, trucks, and utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies.
  • Perform lawn maintenance functions, such as mowing, edging, and raking leaves.
  • Wash, clean, and re-fuel equipment after use.
  • Remove and bag trash from exterior trash cans.
  • Maintain the appearance and safety of sidewalks, driveways, cart paths, and parking lots.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Self-motivated and a team player with a positive attitude.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position or willingness to learn.
  • NVQ level 2 in sports turf or willingness to learn.
  • PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying qualifications desirable.
  • Flexible approach to work, including weekends.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work as part of a team or alone.
