Senior Power Plant Integrity Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to lead and deliver power plant integrity assessments, developing risk-based inspection strategies and providing technical support and advice to clients. The successful candidate will assess inspection results, make run/repair/replace decisions, produce formal technical reports, and create proposals and tender return documents.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct integrity assessments of defective power plant components, including low and high-temperature reverse code calculations, fracture mechanics, and finite element analysis.
• Provide legislative compliance advice on UK PSSR regulations.
• Lead power plant inspections, including steam and water pressure parts, boiler tube surveys, and support surveys, with an understanding of materials selection, damage/degradation mechanisms, and life assessment.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of power plant mechanical engineering and operations and maintenance.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in all or most of the following areas:
- Integrity assessment of defective power plant components.
- Legislative compliance with UK PSSR regulations.
- Power plant inspection, including steam and water pressure parts, boiler tube surveys, and support surveys.
- Power plant mechanical engineering.
- Power plant operations and maintenance.
