Join CV-Library as an Engine Development Specialist in our innovative Engine Test Centre, located in Bedfordshire. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of up to £39,000 depending on experience.

We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in automotive and/or testing environments to validate engine running and associated systems in a test cell environment. As an Engine Development Specialist, you will be responsible for executing customer test requirements and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using both automated and manual methods.

In this role, you will take ownership of test pieces and equipment, ensuring optimal performance, and liaise with engineers, supervisors, and customers to ensure technical requirements are met. Your strong understanding of gasoline and diesel engine fundamentals will enable you to provide expert advice and support to the team.

The successful candidate will have formal automotive qualification or apprenticeship preferred, as well as proven diagnostic skills and systematic approach to fault finding. Basic fabrication and mechanical skills are also essential for this role.
