Teaching Opportunity for Experienced SEN Professionals

Remedy Education invites applications from skilled and dedicated teachers to join our team as a Special Education Needs (SEN) tutor. This rewarding role involves providing tailored support to children with diverse learning needs in East London.

As an SEN teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with various disabilities, including autism, SEMH, learning disabilities, PMLD, and visual impairment.

Job Description
  • Collaborate with local authorities and schools to provide individualized tuition to students with SEN, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to students' unique requirements.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' emotional and social growth.

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS or significant experience teaching SEN students.
  • Proven track record of enhancing students' confidence, self-esteem, and academic performance.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies, including trauma-informed approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS registration and ability to work as self-employed.

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum
