Water Quality Specialist

South Staffs Water is seeking a highly skilled Water Quality Specialist to join their team in Lichfield. The successful candidate will oversee water treatment processes and quality control at the company's northern production sites.
This role involves analysing and interpreting complex water quality and operational data, including SCADA, to optimise plant performance and identify process issues.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a scientific discipline, such as Geography or Chemistry, and experience in data analysis and reporting within a technical or scientific environment.
The estimated salary for this position is £30,000-£34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret complex water quality and operational data.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders.
- Produce reports related to water quality performance.
- Collaborate across different departments to implement corrective measures.
- Identify risks/weaknesses in existing treatment controls.
- Provide water treatment process and water quality advice.
- Own, develop and maintain treatment process policies.
