Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Projects Director

Job Summary:

Kent is seeking a highly experienced Engineering Projects Director to oversee the delivery of multiple large-scale projects across various disciplines. The successful candidate will report to the UK Engineering Managing Director and be responsible for governing the delivery of projects, managing project portfolios, and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment, and Quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of multiple large Concept/ Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design projects
  • Manage project portfolios and framework agreements
  • Provide leadership in HSSE and QA/QC across projects
  • Support project and corporate quality audits
  • Allocate and provide project management and engineering management resources to projects
  • Regularly monitor project performance with regards to HSE, Quality, Progress, Budget, Project Risk, and Customer satisfaction
  • Develop and recruit project personnel
  • Participate in direct strategic projects with key clients

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Significant related project management experience in the Oil and Gas/Energy Industry
  • Hands-on experience of managing large FEED, Detailed Design, and EPC projects
  • Experience of managing project portfolios/framework agreements
  • Excellent communication skills at Director Level, Project Level, and with Senior Clients
  • Thorough knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of planning and project controls
