About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works.
  • Manage and coordinate site operations, including site safety, quality control, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement site plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and architects, to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Manage and monitor site budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in site management and project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, including site safety, quality control, and logistics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other project management tools.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold inspection qualification.
