About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation and Modelling Engineer to join our dynamic team at MBDA UK Ltd. As a key member of our Simulation and Modelling Future Systems group, you will play a crucial role in developing and integrating complex numerical models for missile and system performance assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop component models using Matlab and Simulink
  • Integrate models/components from external sources
  • Design and develop a modelling framework/environment for multiple projects
  • Perform technical analyses and investigations into various issues and problems
  • Participate in peer review of work across the team
Requirements
  • Programming experience or eagerness to learn
  • Forward thinking, planning, and critical thinking
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Curious and adaptable
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with configuration control
  • Experience of working within a system-of-systems framework
  • Experience of working with external model suppliers
  • Understanding of modelling and software development processes
