About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is working with a national shopfitting company based in the East Midlands who require a Site Manager. The company works with many well-known food and beverage companies and fuel stations, along with a handful of retail companies too, boasting consistent repeat business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the workforce on site while being prepared to physically support the team when required.
  • Plan daily work schedules, project tasks, and resource allocation to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Review construction plans and specifications to maintain accuracy and quality of work.
  • Enforce adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Make quick decisions to prevent project delays and troubleshoot challenges.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience within the shopfitting industry, ideally from a Joinery / Carpentry background.
  • Valid SSSTS / SMSTS certification and a CSCS card.
  • Ability to manage a team of trades to ensure high-quality work is delivered on time and to the client's desired specification.
  • Prepared to travel and work away from home, Monday to Friday.
What We Offer
  • £250 - £270 per day, with LTD CIS or PAYE options available.
  • All travel expenses covered.
  • Accommodation can be booked or an allowance paid out, depending on preference.
  • 5 days per week, with the option to remain as a long-term subby or go on to the books after a probation period.
