Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management, delivery, and support of key sites, ensuring programme requirements are met while working in line with both Company and divisional objectives and achieving client and customer aspirations and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Management of construction activities, including supervision of site personnel and coordination of resources.
  2. Safety - ensuring site standards are maintained, assisting risk assessment, accident investigation, site instructions, and inspections.
  3. Quality - ensuring standards of workmanship are maintained, completion of quality records, and maintenance of process-capability.
  4. Maintaining and updating construction plans and associated documentation, including manpower, materials, plant, and vehicles.
  5. Liaison with the Health & Safety Manager to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results.
  6. Liaison with the Client's Site Operatives to ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are achieved.
  7. Liaison with the Planning Manager for construction planning and reporting on progress, informing of any lost time, delays, or potential compensation events, and meeting with Planners, Contracts Manager, Senior Agents, and Project Manager.

Requirements

  1. Extensive experience of delivering multidiscipline projects in the Gas industry.
  2. EUSR SHEA Gas competency.
  3. Supervisory Management Training.
  4. CSCS Managers Card.
  5. IOSH / SMSTS.
  6. Willingness to travel on a weekly basis.
  7. Full UK driving license.
  8. Good work ethics.
  9. Able to lead a team.
  10. First Aider.
  11. Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor (desirable).
  12. CDM Awareness.
  13. NEC 3&4 Contract experience (desirable).
  14. Fire Warden (desirable).
