Sales Account Manager

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our client, a leading food and catering wholesale company. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience and be passionate about food sales, with knowledge of the catering industry being desirable.
About Our Client
Our client supplies a full range of frozen, chilled, and ambient foods, as well as non-food catering products to the foodservice industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing designated accounts, including devising and delivering an area business plan to maximise growth, cold calling potential customers to prospect for new business and develop existing accounts, and contributing to collective team sales plans and company promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- To devise and deliver an area business plan to maximise growth.
- To cold call potential customers to prospect for new business and develop existing accounts.
- To increase business within existing accounts and maximise selling opportunities.
- To contribute to collective team sales plans and company promotions.
- To achieve set bonus targets and attend sales training events and trade shows.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, networking, and communication skills, as well as strong time management skills and ability to manage own diary. A full UK driving license is essential for this role, and computer literacy and good level of numeracy and English literacy skills are necessary. The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
