About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Midwife to join our Home Birth Team as a Band 6 Midwife. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment, promoting midwifery care to women from a wide range of backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver holistic woman-centred care to women choosing to give birth at home
  • Work as part of a fantastic team offering continuity to women
  • Develop and support women on the Homebirth care pathway
  • Participate in the provision of high-risk care for women who need it
  • Contribute to the normalisation of the pregnancy and birth experience for women with both low and high-risk pregnancies

Person Specification
  • Registered Midwife with valid NMC pin
  • Completed preceptorship
  • Competences: perineal suturing, IV drug administration, cannulation
  • Mentorship/SSSA
  • Inpatient and Outpatient experience in all areas
  • Community and CoC experience
  • Current mandatory CPD
