Job Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced registered midwife to join our team as an academic midwife. The successful candidate will have a strong background in midwifery and a passion for education.

About the Role: As an academic midwife, you will play a key role in facilitating teaching and learning across our midwifery provision. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and deliver high-quality educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver educational programs for midwifery students
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
  • Provide mentorship and support to students
  • Participate in research and knowledge exchange activities

Requirements: The successful candidate will have a strong background in midwifery, a teaching qualification (PGCHE), and experience in education. They will also have the opportunity to progress through our GOLD framework to achieve HEA senior fellowship.
