Process Improvement Specialist

Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Process Improvement Engineer to lead the charge in optimising manufacturing processes and boosting efficiency across their sheet metal operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or a related role within a sheet metal or fabrication environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated professional to take ownership of transformative projects and shape the future of our manufacturing capabilities. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll conduct in-depth analyses of current manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
The successful candidate will implement and sustain lean manufacturing methodologies, such as Six Sigma, across the facility. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and introduce best practices in production, optimise material flow, equipment utilisation, and production layouts, and support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring efficient and scalable production processes.

The salary for this position is £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 12.30pm. The company offers a range of benefits, including 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays per year, flexible start and finish times, pension contributions, and a collaborative and supportive work environment.
