Your new role as a Group Accountant at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited offers a unique opportunity to take on a varied position within a commercial business. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for preparing management and financial accounts, intercompany work, maintaining the fixed asset register, and dealing with VAT. From an external reporting perspective, you will also prepare the consolidated financial statements and support the audit process.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Sound financial reporting experience
  • Previous experience in a similar position within a commercial business
  • Full accounting qualification - ACCA, CIMA, ACA
  • It would be an added bonus if you have experience of project accounting and/or R&D tax returns.

What you'll get in return:

  • £55,000 - £60,000 salary
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
