About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Fire Engineer to join our building design team in Maidstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting fire safety assessments, developing fire protection strategies, and collaborating with architects and engineers.

  • Lead fire safety inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement fire protection strategies for new and existing buildings.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.
  • Prepare and review fire safety reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Provide expert guidance on fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and fire modelling to identify potential fire hazards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in fire safety engineering.
  • Support project teams during construction and commissioning phases.

About You:

  • Degree in Fire Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in fire engineering with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in fire modeling software and building design tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Key Information:

  • Estimated salary: £65,000 per annum.
  • Salary range: £55,000 to £75,000 per annum.
  • Sector: MEP and Fire Engineering.
