We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our team, providing strategic counsel to CEOs and senior management teams in the financial services sector.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial communications, investor relations, and capital markets, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries, from energy to technology, and to develop expertise in areas such as equity story development, financial calendar communications, executive profiling, IPOs, restructurings, and M&A transactions.

As a Senior Consultant at Teneo, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day client team direction and management, establishing strong client relationships, and delivering strategic advice.

You will also contribute to new business lead development and pitches, act as a proactive coach and mentor to junior team members, and play an active role in introducing clients to Teneo's range of services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing in-depth knowledge of clients' businesses and industries
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members
  • Contributing to new business opportunities and pitches

To be successful in this role, you will need around 5 years' experience in a similar environment within a financial communications agency or related field. You will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

The salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 28 days holiday, discretionary bonus, annual salary review, pension, private medical insurance, group income protection, life assurance, cycle to work schemes, season ticket loans, flexible working, and regular social activities.
