Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced system engineer to join our team in London, UK. As a Global Satellite Engineering Expert, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge systems, pioneer new technologies, and collaborate with customer-centric experts.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Presenting a major project to the wider Systems Engineering team.
  • Contributing new features to in-house developed tools.
  • Generating insights into system improvements and supporting senior systems engineers.
  • Validating implemented models with online SQL databases.
  • Adapting and developing modelling tools for team members outside the modeling team.
  • Collaborating with software developers to maintain, enhance, and deploy models.
  • Producing technical documentation on current system models.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A BEng, BSc, or BA degree in science, engineering, or math (penultimate year or beyond).
  • Experience using MATLAB.
  • Knowledge of communications systems and satellite communications.
  • Familiarity with practical engineering projects involving design simulation and system verification and validation.
  • Familiarity with analyzing large data sets.
  • Understanding of other coding languages like JULIA and SQL.
  • Experience completing and presenting a major project.
  • Professional or academic experience in satellite communications or a related field.
