Operational Due Diligence Role

Mason Blake is seeking a skilled Operational Due Diligence Analyst to join our team. As an Operational Due Diligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering operational due diligence and risk reviews on external investment funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough operational due diligence on new and existing managers, presenting key findings to the investment committee to inform manager selection.
  • Evaluate operational and structural risks within firms, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assess greenwashing risks and compile comprehensive reports for the wider team.
  • Monitor existing investments and assist with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) due diligence requests.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in the asset management industry, with a focus on operational due diligence, fund audit, or operational risk.
  • Strong knowledge of various asset classes and investment strategies.
  • Proficiency in Excel and programming skills in Python or VBA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate effective collaboration and relationship building.
  • A self-starter with attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs in a timely manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
