Job Summary:

Mason Blake is seeking a highly skilled Operational Due Diligence Analyst to join our team. As an Operational Due Diligence Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering operational due diligence and risk reviews on a wide range of external investment funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough operational due diligence on new and existing managers, presenting key findings to the investment committee to support manager selection.
  • Evaluate operational and structural risks within a firm, identifying potential areas of concern.
  • Assess greenwashing risks and compile comprehensive reports for the wider team.
  • Monitor existing investments and assist in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) due diligence requests.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in the asset management industry, including operational due diligence, fund audit, or operational risk experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of various asset classes and investment strategies.
  • Strong Excel skills and programming experience in Python or VBA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and relationship building.
  • A self-starter with excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver outputs in a timely manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
